Russell has over 30 years experience in product development, market expansion, and growth initiatives. His early career involved functional experiences in operations with Mangill Chemical and GenCorp Polymers. These assignments involved cost accounting, materials management, procurement, and product scale-up. After business school, he turn towards the marketplace with roles in product and market management at Furon and Emerson Electric. He held divisional leadership positions with Emerson, Berkshire-Hathaway, and Will-Burt during the 2000s. Since that time, he has assisted start-up and early stage companies create and fulfil business plans in product/markets as diverse as laboratory equipment, waste to energy, mobile hydraulics, marketing services, and high strength surface coatings. His work has involved JVs in Asia, Europe, and North America.
